Whetu Catapult Challenge

The things that I used to make my catapult were: 5 small sticks, 1 big stick, 1 spoon, and 5 rubber bands.

To make my catapult I worked with Taylor Carmen and Me of course. Taylor did the plan Carmen told Taylor what part we needed and I built it.
The most challenging part was figuring out where each stick went because we haven't made one before.

Our best results were the fare race because we made it to go fare not to go up.

Overall I think that it was a good structure but we must off-put too much presser because it snaped.

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week was parading around the street and seeing all the creative costumes.

I was nervous about coming to school after 3 months in lockdown.

For dress-up day I dressed up as a cow-girl I had to wear my mum's boots and hat and my sister's bandanna. with my jeans, jeans jacket and a checker top.

The funniest thing has happened this week was coming to school to see the teachers all dressed up.

I think the best-dressed person was Ryan because he went out of his comfort zone and dressed up as a Dalmatian.

my cupcakes!!!

For my Dad who just got out of his operation

These are the cupcakes I made for chapter chat they are vanilla flavored with a red filing with a ganache topping we put fondant on
the top then my Nan made a thank you stamp and I made a get well soon Dad stamp after we made the stamps, we did the decoration we made gloves, hearts, injections, plasters, and a mask for every cupcake. The hardest one was the injection and the mask the easiest one was the glove because my Nan had a hand-mold so we put blue fondant in it and there were our gloves. I made the cupcakes all by myself on Tuesday, then it took most of the day up at Nan's to do the icing part, but I think it was worth it as I really enjoyed the outcome of them and they taste amazing!
